A convincing victory for Conservative Larry Miller in Bruce Grey Owen Sound.
Miller was re-elected after picking up 48 per cent of the votes in last night’s federal election.
Miller says he stands by his record in Bruce Grey Owen Sound and believes that is what got him re-elected.
Miller is grateful for the support he received in this election and relates his strongest trait is that his constituents know that he’ll always be honest and up front with everyone.
The Bruce-Grey-Owen Sound race was projected to be a battle between Miller, the incumbent and Dick Hibma of the Green Party
Miller was high in his praise for the clean campaign that Hibma ran, and he believes that his Conservative Party campaign was equally clean and credible.
Following the announcement, Miller elected to speak to the media on hand and followed that with several phone interviews electing to stay with his supporters at his Campaign Office in the NorTowne Plaza in Owen Sound.
Miller relates he was very motivated to work hard in this campaign based on the hard work his wife, family and campaign supporters were putting in on his behalf.
Miller believes the minority government is less than ideal and he firmly predicts Canadians will be voting in another federal election within 18 months.
