An elderly Owen Sound woman – 77-year-old Silvia Fletcher – is dead following a two-vehicle crash just outside the city.
Grey county OPP say Fletcher was westbound on Grey road 5 and turned south onto County road 18, when her car was hit by a northbound Jeep.
Fletcher died as a result of her injuries.
The other driver, 45 year old Donald Crain of the Town of South Bruce Peninsula, and passengers from both vehicles… were taken to the Owen Sound hospital with non life threatening injuries.
The crash happened Friday evening about 5pm in Georgian Bluffs.
The OPP collision investigation team probed the crash and no charges are expected.
