An arrest warrant has been issued for one of the four suspects in a vicious attack on a Toronto man in downtown Owen Sound.
23 year old William Werner was the only suspect charged to be released from police custody.
But he failed to return for his court appearance and Police don’t know where he is.
Werner faces charges of assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and robbery.
The charges stem from an attack at the end of July where a 42 year old Toronto man was stabbed and beaten in a case of mistaken identity.
The story made national headlines over possible racial overtones.
Anyone with information about Werner’s whereabouts are asked to call City Police.
