It’s time for the CNIB’s annual door-to-door campaign.
Community Development Associate Derek Myke says volunteers will canvass throughout Bruce, Grey and Dufferin Counties during the month of October.
Last year, the campaign raised 20 thousand dollars, with the money remaining in the community.
Myke says there are more than one thousand people living with vision loss in the Bruce – Dufferin – Grey area.
He says fundraising makes it possible for the CNIB to continue providing essential vision health services and support.
Myke says the support helps clients enjoy a good quality of life while living with vision loss.
Myke says they are still looking for volunteers to help canvass a minimum of two hours a week.
