Grey County Council is reviewing it’s code of conduct policy.
Warden Kevin Eccles says Councillor Arlene Wright and Councillor Dave Fawcett looked at the current policy and updated it.
Eccles says like any policy they always try to review it every couple of years or so to try and update it and keep it fresh.
Eccles says county councillors will now get a chance to look at the updated policy and provide their opinions on it.
Eccles says like any policy, the input of county councillors is a must and is always valuable.
Eccles says in his term as Warden he has not seen any issue with the code of conduct but says there has been a couple in some of the municipalities in the county.
Eccles says the issues the certain municipalities were having with the policy is one of the reasons why the County Council wanted to review their own code of conduct.
County Councill will vote on approving the updated code of conduct policy at their next meeting in November.
