It runs today and tomorrow.
Spokesperson Doreen Soloduka says tonight’s events include the midway and the judging of the ambassador, and prince and princess competition.
Those events take place in the community centre and John Divinski of 98 the Beach will act as Master of Ceremonies.
Soloduka says there is a lot to take in Saturday too, starting with a pancake breakfast, saddle horse show, kids pet show, pony rides, and poultry judging show.
The parade winds through the village starting at 12 noon and ends at the fairgrounds.
Soloduka says in the afternoon there is entertainment for kids and adults.
New this year, is an exotic petting zoo.
She says carrying on with the tradition of small community fairs like this is important, because it defines and brings a community together.
