The Board of the South Bruce Grey Health Centre is looking forward to the upcoming stakeholders meeting in Kincardine.
The Board was invited to the meeting by the Municipality of Kincardine.
SBGHC President and CEO Paul Davies says they hope to present the stakeholders some factors that are impacting the Kincardine Hospital both internally and externally.
He says through that they can educate the participants at the October 31st meeting.
Davies doesnt think there is a threat that the hospital will separate themselves from the SBGHC.
He says as far as he is concern the Board will not discuss the issue of de-malgamation.
Davies also downplayed any concerns from Kincardine Council that the proposed addition to the medical clinic would be part of an expansion of the hospital.
He says the hospital is not involved the addition but suggested it could be built in conjunction with the hospital so that it would better serve patients.
The stakeholders meeting will deal with the future of the hospital and was prompted after the SBGHC outsourced their out-patient physiotherapy service to a private clinic this summer.
