A one of kind auction goes today at the 2008 IPM in Teeswater.
IPM Official Cheryl Russwurm says the items to be auctioned are ones that helped promote the plowing match plus an array of decorations on site.
Little Bruce, the official mascot of IPM 2008 will be auctioned off with proceeds going to the Bruce County Cattleman’s Association.
Little Bruce is a 6 foot tall fibreglass statue of a bull.
A 10 foot 8 sided Gazebo constructed by the Grade 11 Work Shop at Walkerton District Secondary School will also be auctioned off as well.
The auction begins today at 12:15pm at the Gazebo in the Foodland Country Courtyard on 1st Street at the plowing match.
Proceeds from the auction will go to various locations which include: Foodgrains Bank, IPM 2008 and Sick Children’s Trust.
