Health will be the focus of a fair in Wiarton this weekend.
Complete Wellness Massage and Aesthetics is hosting the first annual Health and Wellness Fair today.
Owner and Registered Massage Therapist Rebecca Thomas says they thought it was important for all the health and wellness providers in the area to meet.
She says it’s also an opportunity for Wiarton residents to find out what types of health services are available in the area.
About 15 businesses have signed on this year, including companies that specialize in ionic cleansing, detoxification, and performance orthodics.
Thomas says for the first year, that’s a good response and they hope to get more in the coming years.
She says they’ve also had positive feedback from current clients about the idea.
All the proceeds raised during the fair will be donated to the Bruce Peninsula Health Services Foundation, to go toward the Wiarton Hospital.
The fair runs from 10AM – 3PM at the Wiarton Arena.
