Wild for the Arts at MacGregor Point Provincial Park is a festival that celebrates nature as a source of inspiration for creativity.
This weekend families are invited to park to take advantage of the free day-use entry courtesy Ontario Power Generation.
On Soundingboard, Friends of MacGregor Point Park spokesperson Nora Toth says this is an opportunity to enjoy the arts in a natural setting.
Toth says hikes and workshops will explore nature photography, story writing, visual arts and more!
There will also be scavenger hunts, the kids creativity corner and the favourite Campground Studio Tour’ art show and sale.
Toth says three years ago, they wanted to show that our provincial parks could be enjoyed in the fall and Wild for the Arts fit the bill.
Toth says most everything is free and there will be several barbecues going on to take care of the hunger.
She does urge people though, to bring their “imagination.”
Toth says the weekend is all about creativity in a natural setting.
Activities run from 10am to 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
