Grey County OPP are on the lookout for the driver of a white van after two incidents in Rocklyn early Saturday afternoon.
Police say an 11 year old girl called on a friend in the village, but the friend wasn’t home.
As she turned to go home, she noticed a white van stopped at the end of the driveway.
She was spooked by the van, and hid behind her friend’s house for five minutes.
She then ran home and told her mother.
A short time later, a middle-aged woman in the area was approached by the white van.
The driver, a heavy-set middle aged man, offered her a ride.
When the woman refused, the van continued beside her and didn’t leave until another vehicle appeared.
The van is described as a white mini-van, with stickers on the rear window and passenger side.
The driver was clean-shaven with dark brown thinning hair.
A patrol through the area by police was unsuccessful, and OPP are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crimestoppers.
