The Hanover and District Big Brothers and Big Sisters is getting some funding.
The group has received $10,000 from the Ministry of Education and Big Brothers – Big Sisters Canada.
The funding will go to the Hanover group’s In School mentoring program.
Executive Director Marg Wettlaufer says they will hire a part time Co-ordinator for the program.
She adds they want to increase the number of children served by attracting new volunteers.
