The 2008 Fall Leisure Fair is underway in Saugeen Shores.
On Soundingboard Community Program Co-ordinator Michael Hundt says the event goes tonight and tomorrow night.
Hundt says the idea is to get those special groups together under one roof so you can shop around for the activity you wish to pursue.
He says at least 18-groups have committed to being on hand to provide information and if necessary to take registrations from those attending.
Groups include Saugeen Shores Minor Hockey; the Port Elgin Air Cadets, the South Port School of Classical Ballet to the Southampton Curling Club.
Hundt says the town’s community services department will be there as well and they’re looking for participants in a women’s volleyball league that will be starting up this fall, along with the Saugeen Shores Futsal League for kids to keep those soccer skills sharp for next season.
The fair runs from 6pm to 9pm each evening and is free of charge in the Rotary Room of the Plex in Port Elgin.
