Saturday night, police and fire responded to a vehicle fire in downtown Port Elgin on Goderich Street shortly after 11pm.
Police say a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado convertible with the roof down was parked when fire was reported in the front seat.
Attempts were made to douse the flames with an extinguisher but it spread quickly.
Saugeen Shores Police suspect the blaze was deliberately set and are asking witnesses to come forward if they have any information.
