It’s time for the annual Labour Day Fireworks in Port Elgin, put on by the Saugeen Shores Chamber of Commerce.
Community Relations Spokesperson Sally Hunt says the fireworks begin at dusk tonight.
She says this year, expect a spectacular show, as they have bumped the budget from eight to nine thousand dollars.
While the cost is incurred by the Chamber, donations are appreciated, and will be collected at the fireworks, and throughout various locations in Saugeen Shores.
Hunt says the night actually begins around 7:30 at the main beach, with music by Flash Back, and a beach carnival.
Hunt says there will be many new items for sale at the beach; including the new green bags, featuring Saugeen Shores, and collectible pins and fun glow items too.
