The upgrades to the Neustadt and District Arena are now complete.
West Grey received a 50 thousand dollar grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation last year to upgrade the arena’s heating and ventilation system.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murdoch says it will improve the energy efficiency of the facility.
He notes the arena benefits everyone in the Neustadt community — from children playing hockey to not for profit groups holding dinners.
This facility is open all year round and has a large capacity that can accommodate groups for up to 12 hundred people.
