Some offices are already very busy in preparation for school next week.
Kunkel Bus Lines of Hanover are working hard to prepare for Tuesday’s first day back.
General Manager Bonnie Huffman says its crazy in their office today with lists coming in from both the public and separate school boards.
She says any information they receive early enough today will be processed in time for Tuesday.
She says anything that comes in after that means some parents will have to drive their kids to school in the morning.
Huffman says Kunkel bus lines also purchased 23 new buses as part of provincial regulations which states the vehicles must be replaced every 12 years.
However Huffman says the old buses are still safe, they’re checked for safety every year.
The new buses have a new engine which is designed to produce fewer emissions.
Kunkel buses more than 7,000 kids to two dozen different schools.
Huffman says she’s also crossing her fingers for fewer snow days this winter.
