It is a “sign” of things to come in Kincardine.
The Municipality’s Economic Development and Tourism department held a conference call meeting on Monday to talk about the design of their new signs.
The signage is designed to be more appealing to people visiting the Municipality.
Manager Steve Murray says the signs will try and incorporate Communities In Bloom designs, the Kincardine Scottish tartans, and a heritage marine look.
Murray says they discussed a few minor changes to the Kincardine Gateway sign.
However, he says they did like the design of the gateway sign for Tiverton.
Murray says they were very happy the progress on the way finding signs.
He says the new signage will also be placed at downtown kiosks, parking, and historic plaques.
Murray says their consultant will be presenting a report to Council on October 1st
