An 85 year old man from Oakville is dead after spending time in Lake Huron.
South Bruce OPP say George Shaw was pulled from the lake Monday.
Police say he had been at the beach with friends in the mid-afternoon.
They say he was in the water, and then became unresponsive.
The man was pulled to shore, and ambulance workers performed CPR.
He was taken to Kincardine Hospital and pronounced dead.
No further details about the incident are known.
