There is more money for the International Plowing Match in Teeswater.
A 30 thousand dollar grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation was announced at last night’s Ontario Plowman’s Association meeting in Teeswater.
Organizers will use to grant for the volunteer program at the IPM — more than two thousand volunteers will be involved.
The International Plowing Match will be held in Teeswater from September 16th to the 20th.
Huron Bruce MPP Carol Mitchell also announced last night she will host the Ontario Liberal Caucus at the Plowing Match.
About 50 Liberal MPP’s will attend the opening ceremonies.
It’s expected the International Plowing Match will leave an economic impact of more than 20 million dollars in the region.
Over 80 thousand people are expected to attend the four day event.
