Contract talks between Ontario’s 24 community colleges and the union representing 65 hundred support staff workers have ended.
But the Ontario Public Service Employees Union says both sides will meet again before the end of the month.
The workers gave their union a strike mandate last month and voted to reject their latest contract offer.
Their current contract expires at the end of the month.
The Vice President of Georgian College is leading the Bargaining team.
Cheryl Simpson tells Beach News they have offered a competitive two year deal that calls for a three per cent raise in each year.
But the union wants a four per cent wage increase a year.
