You are not allowed to swim at Inverhuron Provincial Park in Bruce County.
The beach has been posted after samples taken Monday showed higher than acceptable traces of ecoli in the water.
Assistant Park Superintendent Scott Davidson says higher traces of the bacteria were found in the Little Ausable River.
He blames the recent rainfall for the higher reading.
The beach has been posted with signs along the boardwalk, at the boat launch and at the beach at the Little Ausable River.
But Davidson hopes to lift the advisory soon.
He says they will take more water samples this morning and if they show acceptable levels, they will re-open the beach to swimming.
