Teens from the region are leaving a piece of themselves on the walls at the United Way of Bruce-Grey office.
The group works with a summer arts training camp put on by SHEATRE, and have spent the last month painting two murals inside the building.
The finished products were unveiled last weekend during a special presentation.
The first mural can be seen just inside the door, as you walk down the stairs to the Aboriginal centre.
One mural covers a wall upstairs, and SHEATRE Director Joan Chandler says it reflects the Owen Sound community and the surrounding area.
In front of the mural, students from the group performed a story they created this summer, and Chandler says the message behind the play was about trusting yourself to be the best you can be.
Paige Phillips is training as a production assistant this summer, and she says painting the mural also helped her to explore this theme.
She says the whole summer experience with SHEATRE has been amazing, as she’s done many things she never would have thought she could, such as painting and writing a musical.
SHEATRE Director Joan Chandler says the murals were an idea brought forth by the United Way.
They already did one on the outside of the building with artist Trevor Pfeffer, and they wanted to team up with him and the kids from SHEATRE to paint the two inside.
