Goderich Street from River Street to Tomlinson Drive is pretty beat up right now, as crews work on widening it into a four lane highway.
Saugeen Shores Director of Engineering, Dave Burnside says most of the work is complete between River and Mary Streets.
Burnside says they hope to put curbs in within ten days.
He says paving will come after that.
There is also a bit more work to be done between Mary and Tomlinson.
Burnside says they are still aiming for an end of August completion date.
He says there may be sidewalk work and restoration to do in the eary part of September, but that is it.
The work has included replacing sanitary and storm sewers and the constructon of sidewalks.
Two lanes remain open during the construction.
The project comes in at a cost of just over 1.6 million dollars.
