The beach at the park has been posted with a sign that it’s unsafe for swimming.
Park Superintendent Chris Tomsett tells Bayshore Broadcasting News there are unacceptable bacteria levels in the water.
The beach has been posted as required by the Grey Bruce Health Unit.
Tomsett says the water samples collected on Wednesday were over the acceptable levels.
He believes the high winds and thunderstorms this week stirred up the water and caused the higher reading.
But Tomsett says they took more samples this morning and he hopes to get good news so they can lift the advisory late tomorrow.
