Six people in the creative and layout department have lost their jobs.
The daily newspaper has shuffled editors — Jim Merriam is now the Editor and General Manager of the Shoreline Beacon in Port Elgin.
Bill Henry replaces Merriam as City Editor.
Publisher Cheryl McMenemy says they will replace Henry’s news reporter position by using more resources from weekly newspapers in Grey Bruce.
