The second annual Owen Sound Triathlon ends today.
Hundreds of athletes are in the Scenic City to swim, run and bike for a medal.
The Sprint Triathlon and Duathlon races were held yesterday afternoon and the World Championship qualifiers are being held today.
Registration begins at 7:15 AM this morning at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre.
The Olympic distance Triathlon and Duathlon begin after nine o’clock this morning where athletes will swim 1.5 kilometres, bike 40 kilometres and run ten kilometres.
Today’s top finishers will attempt to qualify for the 2009 World Championship.
A number of roads in Owen Sound will be closed for the races.
