Organizers of Southampton’s 150th Anniversary Parade are lining up participants for the event.
Parade Committee Organizer Jeff Scott says they have a number of floats in the parade would like to see more from the local community.
Scott says they have been able to acquire a number of convertibles from local businesses.
He says they will be used to take dignitaries through the parade.
Scott says the Parade Committee is always looking for volunteers to help out in the parade.
He says these things don’t happen by themselves and really wants everyone in the community to lend their support and enthusiasm.
The parade will take place Saturday August 16th starting at 10:15 AM.
