An Etobicoke man has been charged with drunk driving after crashing his van in Owen Sound this morning.
Owen Sound Police were called around 3:30 this morning when a Plymouth van was seen losing control near the Sunset Strip, mounting a curb, and colliding with concrete barriers and guard wire.
The lot was vacant, but the van received major damage.
The 22 year old driver received minor injuries, but a breath sample revealed he’d been drinking.
Police suspended his licence immediately for twleve hours, and charged him with careless driving.
He’s also been charged with having a blood alcohol level above zero while holding a novice licence.
