A bear sighting in Sauble Beach.
Callers to Bayshore Broadcasting news say they saw a large bear around 6 this morning.
It was spotted in the area of Carson Lake Crescent.
Callers say when standing, the bear appeared to be about six feet tall.
They say garbage was strewn throughout the street, as the bear had gone through many garbage cans.
One caller said the bear seemed brave, as the bear at one point, stook eating from a can, not even rattled that a nearby dog and owner watched.
OPP responded to the call, but by the time they arrived, the bear had left the area.
The Ministry of Natural resources reminds anyone who sees a bear to call the bear reporting hotline at 1-866-514-BEAR.
