The 9th annual event goes all day tomorrow (SAT) and is being put on by the Stokes Bay Community Centre.
President of the Community Centre Colette Sauve says they actually kick off things tonight (FRI) with a cruiser night with clasic cars and motorcylces, a camp fire and the soap box entries for Saturday’s race will be on display.
Those events will be happening at the community’s general store.
Events for Saturday kickoff first thing in the morning at 7:30 with breakfast.
Other events include a yardsale, bike parade, a soap box derby, a lunch BBQ during the day.
The night events include: a youth dance in the community centre and an adult dance outside the centre with a live band.
Sauve says every year the event has brought in a good crowd especially from residents in surrounding communities.
