South Bruce OPP were called to a Colborne Street apartment in Walkerton around 8:30 last night.
Police say a 46 year old man was stabbed in the back by his 22 year old stepdaughter.
The man was treated in hospital for non life threatening injuries.
The young woman has been charged with assault with a weapon while the man has been charged with assault.
The investigation continues.
