The town of Hanover has received another cheque from the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation.
The cheque is for more than $282,000 — and it marks the first quarter share of revenue at the Hanover slots facility.
Hanover has now received more than $5.5 million since the slots opened at Hanover Raceway in February, 2001.
More than 2.2 million visitors have walked through the doors in that time.
