West Grey CAO Christine Robinson says the community’s website has been re-vamped and updated.
Robinson says the website at www.westgrey.com will allow residents to access information on West Grey’s programs and services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
All of West Grey’s council meetings and agendas are on the site.
The website has some new bells and whistles, including GIS interactive maps, current weather conditions, and “Find Your Way To West Grey” directions.
Robinson says the website also targets business interests looking at locating in West Grey.
She says the site has West Grey’s Economic Development Strategy, Economic Development Handbook, Business Directory, and Community Profile.
Robinson says the new website is timely, following the creation of five wireless hotspots within West Grey.
Visitors can use their laptops for free at the former municipal office in Ayton, the Ayton Arena, the Neustadt Library and the new Neustadt Police Substation.
For those more adventurous, wireless access is now available outdoors at the Lion’s Park in Neustadt as well.
