The Legion Hall in Hepworth will soon be renovated.
The Legion has received almost 40 thousand dollars from the Ontario Trillium Foundation to renovate and update the kitchen hall.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MPP Bill Murcdoch was at the legion yesterday (SAT) as part of the announcement.
He says it makes sense to update the legion’s kitchen because it’s the only large hall in the village of Hepworth.
The seating capacity at the 48 year old Legion hall is 350 people.
The grant will be used to expand the original kitchen, remove access barriers and help to increase programs and services offered at the Legion.
