Everything went well at the first ever Saugeen Shores Dog Show.
Organizer Abby Bolton says there was a great turnout yesterday at the Plex.
She says there were many children and adults who came through the doors.
Bolton says the Mega Mutts show was phenomenal and the vendors were prompt and efficient in their set up of their booths.
She hopes they can do it again next year with all the vendors returning and maybe some new ones coming in.
Bolton also made mention of the dog park and how close they are to getting it open.
She says they still have another 315 feet of fencing to put up but they are slow in putting it up because of the wet weather.
Bolton says the dog park should be ready for their grand opening on August 2nd at 11 A.M.
Bolton says the dog park committee is still looking for donations and those can be made at the Saugeen Shores Municipal Offices.
She says the money will help cover ongoing maintenance costs and upgrades.
