There is a safer place for kids to play in Formosa.
New playground equipment was unveiled this week at the Formosa Lions/Lioness Park.
The Lions Club received more than 32 thousand dollars from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and also raised over 20 thousand dollars.
The group used that money to replace outdated and unsafe equipment at the park.
The new equipment includes a design for children in walkers and wheelchairs and is also accessible with ramps.
