Improvements are on the way for a few parks in Chatsworth.
The township has received 10 thousand dollars from the Hydro One PowerPlay grant.
The Berkeley Community Park will get one thousand dollars to upgrade the playground.
The Chatsworth Community Park gets 4500 dollars for new playground equipment, including swings, a slide and a climber.
The Keady Community Park will also receive 4500 dollars to help replace the ball diamond screen.
Mayor Howard Greig says the PowerPlay program is a wonderful opportunity for small municipalities who do not have extra funds.
