The Paisley Inn is on the market for anyone who wants tackle the massive restoration of the 145 year old historic structure.
Owner Burke Maidlow says the building has been listed at just under 500 thousand dollars and so far there has been a few tentative expressions of interest in the building.
He says he is still trying to renovate the Inn on his own, but if interested people want to restore the building, he is more than willing to sell to them.
Maidlow says he now is seeking a building permit from the municipality of Arron Elderslie so he can begin to fix up the crumbling building and prevent any further deterioration of the structure.
He says structurally it is standing up quite well but because of numerous court battles with the Municipality he has not been able to do as much work on it as he would have liked.
Maidlow says there now appears to be a bit of a thaw in the frosty relationship he has had with the Municipality, he hopes to get a building permit and save the building.
