A motorist is being credited with helping to stop a drunk driver in Owen Sound.
Police say a man noticed a vehicle behind him drive into a ditch on Grey Road 1 around 9 o’clock Thursday night.
But the driver managed to get the car out of the ditch and drove towards Owen Sound with a flat tire.
The witness called 9-1-1 and police found the vehicle stopped on the Eddie Sergeant Parkway with a shredded tire.
A 44 year old Orangeville woman faces numerous charges including impaired driving and possession of marijuana.
