A 21 year old man is in a London hospital after being hit by a van in Port Elgin.
Saugeen Shores Police were dispatched to a pedestrian – motor vehicle crash on Gustavus Street near the high school around 2:30 yesterday afternoon (WED).
The Port Elgin resident was airlifted to a London hospital with what’s believed to be non life threatening injuries.
Police say their preliminary investigation indicates the pedestrian was crossing the street when he was hit by a van.
The road was closed for about 2 and a half hours yesterday.
The investigation continues.
