2 members of Bruce County Council are putting their names to run for the Warden position in 2009.
South Bruce Mayor Bill Goetz and Brockton Mayor Charlie Bagnato both announced they are putting their nomination in for Warden for Bruce County Council in 2009
Bagnato says this is his 6th year on County council and feels it would be a great honour to be the Warden.
Bagnato says he has many ideas he would like to bring to County leve especially on the environment.
Goetz is into his 2nd year on County council and says for many years there has been no competition for the position and felt there should be one.
Goetz says whoever wins the position, each candidate would support the other one.
The current Warden is Northern Bruce Peninsula Mayor Milt McIver.
