Hospital officials are holding a Report to the Community public meeting and also will preview a video marking the 10th anniversary of the amalgamation of the area hospitals.
Health Service Vice President of Strategic Planning and Community Relations Maureen Solecki says this evenings meeting will see reports from the Hospital board chair, chief of staff and Hospital President and CEO.
In addition she says there will be a special report from Surgeon Dr. Jonathan Caulfield dealing with Colorectal Cancer Screening.
Solecki says that there will be a chance for the public to ask questions of Hospital officials about any concerns they may have about the Health Service.
She says this meeting is part of the Hospitals role to be accountable to the community and they try to hold community meeting ever couple of years.
Solecki says this is a good chance for the Health Service to hear from the public and also gives them a chance to talk about their past successes and the challenges that are ahead.
Tonight’s Report to the Community meeting begins at 7 pm and is being held in the St. Mary’s Parish Hall in Owen Sound.
