The incident happened early Monday on Sideroad 30 of Brant township.
The Tiverton area man was driving south on Sideroad 30 when his vehicle was boxed in by two other vehicles.
OPP say his vehicle was eventually rammed into the ditch by a black Dodge Dakota pickup truck, which also ended up in the ditch.
The Tiverton area man smashed out the passenger window and fled…. to get away from the suspects.
He reported hearing a shot fired as he ran off.
South Bruce OPP say the victim was not hurt and their investigation is continuing.
