An 18 year old woman has been arrested after a collision.
Owen Sound Police were called out yesterday morning to the hill on 6th Street East, but while officers were en route, they learned the vehicle had left the scene.
They found the vehicle abandoned down the road with heavy damage to the front end.
Police then found out the car had been stolen earlier from an east side residence before it hit the hydro pole.
Witnesses helped to find the woman nearby, under the influence of alcohol.
It also turns out she stole items from another vehicle in the area after trashing the first car.
The woman, of no fixed address, faces charges of theft over five thousand dollars, possession of stolen property, theft under five thousand dollars, drunk driving, breach of probation, and failing to remain at the scene of an accident.
