The federal government has announced $6,500 in funding to help Bruce Grey communities celebrate Canada’s birthday.
Bruce Grey Owen Sound MP Larry Miller announced the funding yesterday.
Grey Highlands will receive the largest chunk at $2,800 while the City of Owen Sound will receive $2,000.
The rest of the money will go to Hanover, the Friends of the Bruce District Parks Association, the Optimist Club of Sydenham and the Owen Sound Mtis Council.
