A rodeo, an auction and a barbecue.
It’s what’s happening in front of the Saugeen Shores police station on Tomlinson Drive tomorrow.
However should it be raining, the event will move indoors to the Plex arena.
Police Chief Dan Rivett says the day starts off at 10 A.M. with a bike auction.
Rivett says they have about 50 bikes up for bids along with some other recovered property that hasn’t been claimed.
At 11, it’s time for the bicycle rodeo.
Rivett says the event is geared towards the children but everyone is welcome to bring their bikes for a safety check-up and to take a shot at the skills course.
He says there will be challenges to test their control and stopping of a bicycle.
The Saugeen Shores Police Association is also putting on a barbecue with net proceeds going to cover costs for Titan of the K-9 division.
The dog recently broke a bone in one of its legs and is recovering from surgery.
