June is Seniors month and the city of Owen Sound is marking it with a Seniors Fair.
Today the public is encouraged to come out to the Harry Lumley Bayshore in Owen Sound for the free fair between 9AM and 4PM.
Fourteen Seminars are planned, with 37 Exhibitors on hand to promote services and products geared towards healthy aging.
United Way Executive Director, Francesca Dobbyn says the fair will be full of information and entertainment alike.
One of the main attractions is the “Scooter Rodeo” that is happening between 10AM and 1PM on the arena’s playing surface.
Other special entertainment includes Tai Chi and the Salvation Army Golden Agers line dancing club.
The Event is being hosted by both the Senior’s Advocacy and Awareness Network and the United Way of Bruce Grey.
