A 38 year-old Georgian Bluffs woman is facing charges involving illegal smokes, after a routine traffic stop.
Bruce Peninsula OPP seized 20 cartons of contraband cigarettes when they pulled over a car in Wiarton about 3:30 am on Wednesday.
The officer spotted the cigarettes in the backseat as he spoke with the driver.
The RCMP have now been contacted and the smokes seized under the Excise Act.
The Mounties are now doing their own investigation.
