Businesses in Grey, Bruce and Simcoe Counties are being encouraged to hire a student.
The Service Canada Centre for Youth in Owen Sound, Walkerton and Collingwood is holding its annual hire a student week.
Youth Services Officer Melissa Trezise says they have a number of events planned across the region.
Student officers will be posting pink flyers around the region.
In Collingwood — Trezise says they currently have about 25 job postings with a number of vacancies and are hoping for 60 postings this week.
In the Wasaga Beach area — there are about 95 positions available, mostly in hotels and restaurants.
Trezise says they can help students with their job search, but also with their resumes and can do mock interviews with them.
She reminds students now’s the time to look for a summer job because many employers want you start by July 1st.
